We are pleased to inform you that ECO-Planet (Mauritius) Ltd was approached by New Horizon Communications Ltd which holds the franchise for the organization of the Miss ECO Beauty Contest for Mauritius and Rodrigues. Miss ECO is the International pageant for women which promote environmental awareness. It was created and organized by the International Organisation “LET’S TAKE CARE OF THE PLANET” UN In Egypt. The main objective of the contest is to choose the best Candidates to be the ECO Queen for the marketing of eco-tourism all over the world and promote the principle of agreement that we will save our planet not only environmentally but culturally through the exchange of cultures between queens. With the selection of the best special offers on “Tourism Marketing Year”, “Tourism Special Environmental” which shall be at an international level where they will be trained and later on presented to the public and alsoto use their experience.

MISS ECO MAURITIUS & RODRIGUES 2015 will lead actions across the island to sensitize Mauritian and Rodriguan Citizens on awareness and on eco-citizen actions to adopt in their town/village and on a national level. They will also have the privilege to represent Mauritius and Rodrigues at the international level alongside other countries of the World in Egypt, April 2016. This is the FIRST TIME that Rodrigues will have her representative to participate to an International Beauty Pageant. It also pleases us to inform you that Dr. Amaal Rezk the Co-Founder of Miss Eco and coordinator of “Let’s Take Care of the Planet” UN project (LTCPUN), Miss ECO Queen 2015 Patricia Peklar, will be the guest of honour for the Coronation Night for Mauritius and Rodrigues. Miss Eco Netherlands first runner up 2015 Talisa Wolter and Miss. Nada Mohamed Shokry - Assistant co-ordinator of LTCPUN will also visit Mauritius as from Wednesday 30th September 2015 till the Wednesday 14th October 2015.
